Non-Surgical Facial rejuvenation can be performed at any age after 30 but the optimal age for this and any other non-surgical procedures is 35-55 years. After 55 years the program should include more than 3 treatments depending on the skin condition.


The treatment is performed in an easy two step process. First, a topical photosensitizing agent called Levulan (5-aminolevulinic acid or ALA) is applied onto the skin and left on for about 30-60 minutes. Then, it is treated with Blu-U light for about 8-10 minutes in order to activate it. These treatments remove sun damaged pre-cancerous zones and actinic keratosis. Lasers will permanently reduce the amount of hair growth. Some areas of the body will experience permanent removal of hair while other areas may need some maintenance from time to time. After each visit, hair growth will be further reduced and you will require fewer sessions.
